Be SPECIFIC When Setting Expectations

Our explanation of services is that we believe when you Know, Like and Trust your agent, you will make more informed decisions. Do you believe what we believe? If I can convince you to know, like, and trust me, is there any reason why you would not use me as your agent?

It is a very powerful statement when you can get people to agree. When one person believes something and the other person does not, there is confusion and not a full agreement.

How clear are you when setting expectations? Are you specific enough for others to understand. In our mind, we are clear. The way you take us from confusion to clarity is by asking this one simple question.

“Is there any reason why today we can’t talk today at 9:30?” It needs to be a verbal agreement back and forth. “I want to talk to you today at 9:30. Can we talk today at 9:30.”

If you do not specifically ask for people’s business, they don’t feel obligated to doing business with you.

I believe we need to be specific with what we want.
