How Do You Develop Your Own Pride?

How do you develop your own pride?

How do you develop your own pride?

Do you know what pride is? Do you know what it means to have pride?

I had a great coach growing up that taught me to take pride in what I do.  Everything that you do, whether it is good, half assed, or off the chart; you put your stamp of approval on it.

How do you feel about that?

When we are not focused on our goals, we become sloppy and it can affect our pride.  This past week I have gotten sloppy. I wasn’t focused on my goals. I have gained weight, I spent more money than I should have, all because I lost focus and lost my pride.

Whatever it is that you are struggling with, take pride in it.  You’ve got to own it, you’ve got to own your short-comings.  You have to recognize it and then make that decision about what am I going to be prideful about.

Pride is one thing that you have to go out and get on your own.  It cannot be bought.  You have to earn it, and you will earn it when times are the toughest.  Pride doesn’t matter when times are easy.  It is when times are tough, when you have a hard time believing in moving forward, is when you work on those pride muscles.

It is pride week here at GTT Studios.  I encourage you to develop your own pride week.
